2015 Land O'Lakes Division One Champions & Plateau A Champions!!
The HOH is a men's acapella chorus from West Allis, Wisconsin. We are a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, [link] also known as the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA). We sing in a variety of music styles, but we are rooted in the tradition of four-part close harmony singing, better known as "Barbershop".
Started in 2006 by a group of singers who wanted to bring their passion for barbershop music to central Milwaukee. Since their inception, the HOH has performed all throughout the West Allis area, singing for audiences young and old alike. They've competed in countless singing competitions including the Division One Spring Contest, and the Land O'Lakes District Fall Contest. As a result of our hard work and dedication, the HOH currently holds the title of Plateau A Champions, which we received at our 2015 Fall contest. This is a title we've been honored to hold many times in years past.
If you are interested in seeing the Heart of Harmony perform live, please check the performances section for our upcoming appearances. We've sang on stages, on street corners, in local bars and restaurants, nursing homes, and during a Milwaukee Admirals hockey game. Also, we've had the privileged of singing the National Anthem before a Milwaukee Bucks game!
The chorus, and our quartets are available for hire at parties, corporate events, picnics, or any other location where you may need high quality entertainment. Please visit our Contact Page [link] and write us a note, we'd be glad to hear from you.
Every Tuesday, the members of the Heart of Harmony chorus get together to practice many of the wonderful songs in our repertoire. Our music team is continually searching for new music to add to our ever growing list of songs. Any men with little or no singing experience is welcome to JOIN US [link] at any of our Tuesday night rehearsals. We offer instruction in proper singing techniques, sight-reading, performance craft, singing in tune, ensemble work, "quartetting", great fellowship and an evening full of fun!
Friends, family and guests are all welcome.
